EVENT INFO and FAQ
-
Since its inaugural voyage in 2009, the Swashbuckler’s Ball has become a beloved Portland tradition, bringing pirates, rogues, merfolk, and adventurers together for a night unlike any other.
Equal parts pirate prom, immersive adventure, live music festival, costume spectacle, and charity gala, the Ball invites you to leave the ordinary behind and explore a nautical playground filled with themed spaces, hidden corners, and unexpected surprises.
Enjoy spirited live performances, discover handcrafted treasures along Merchant’s Row, and raise a tankard at uniquely themed bars alongside fellow buccaneers.
As a volunteer-run nonprofit event, the Ball proudly gives back through an annual charity raffle featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses, artists, and community members.
Whether you're a seasoned privateer or a first-time adventurer, don your finest pirate finery, gather your crew, and prepare for a legendary night of music, merriment, and memories that linger long after the final shanty fades.
