There will be a raffle of glorious items donated by local merchants and sponsors, available for viewing in The Midships Lounge. The proceeds from this raffle, as well as a portion of funds raised by ticket and drink sales, will go to benefit two different charities.
CHARITIES
MIlwaukie Portland Elks Lodge
The Swashbuckler's Ball has always been about community, and this year, we're giving back to the port that helps bring our celebration to life!
A portion of the proceeds from the 15th Annual Swashbuckler's Ball will support the Milwaukie-Portland Elks Lodge #142's dance floor replacement project, helping restore and improve a beloved gathering space for years of celebrations to come.
From lively dances to unforgettable nights of music and merriment, the Elks Lodge has been an important part of our story. We're proud to help preserve this space for our hosts, our community, and the many adventures still ahead.
Here's to keeping the dance floor lively for generations to come!
For the third consecutive year, the Swashbuckler's Ball is proud to support My Voice Music (MVM), a Portland nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people through the transformative power of music.
My Voice Music provides youth with opportunities to write, record, and perform their own original songs, fostering creativity, building confidence, and encouraging self-expression. Guided by the belief that every young person deserves to find and share their artistic voice, MVM creates a welcoming environment where young musicians can discover their talents, tell their stories, and make their voices heard.
